Dr. Frank Plovier is a highly respected specialist in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery. He graduated in 1996 with highest honors (summa cum laude) and commendation from the dean, and became a certified plastic surgeon in 2002. With years of experience, precision, and dedication, he has built a strong international reputation.
As the founder of BeClinic, a leading private clinic in Overijse, Dr. Plovier is committed to the highest standards in aesthetic surgery. He places great importance on a personal approach, carefully listening to each patient's desires from the first consultation through to post-operative care. His goal is to achieve natural, harmonious results that align with the patient’s expectations.
When establishing BeClinic, Dr. Plovier invested in the most advanced and comfortable infrastructure. The clinic is equipped with high-end Swiss technology and implements the latest techniques to ensure patient safety and comfort. Accredited Surgeons
Dr. Carolina Pollio
Dr. Carolina Pollio earned her medical degree from the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II and subsequently specialized in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery at Sapienza Università di Roma, one of Italy’s most renowned universities.
During her training, she gained valuable surgical experience in both Italy and Belgium, including at the CHU Brugmann. She also developed specialized expertise in aesthetic medicine, with a focus on injectable treatments such as botulinum toxin and hyaluronic acid fillers.
Dr. Pollio has been part of the BeClinic team since 2025. She works closely with Dr. Plovier and continues to deepen her understanding of the clinic’s techniques, methods, and philosophy. She already performs certain procedures independently, always adhering to the high quality and safety standards for which BeClinic is known.
Her approach is characterized by technical precision, a strong aesthetic sensibility, and personalized care for each patient.

Dr. Thomas Nevens
Dr. Thomas Nevens is affiliated with the University Hospital KU Leuven, Gasthuisberg, and RZ Tienen.
In addition to general plastic and aesthetic surgery, he specializes in breast reconstruction, head and neck reconstruction, and soft tissue reconstruction of the lower limb.
Dr. Alexandru Paun
Dr. Alexandru Paun obtained his medical degree in 2015 and specialized in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery in 2021.
He is known for his meticulous approach and strong commitment to patient care, with particular attention to thorough follow-up.
Before joining the BeClinic team, Dr. Paun gained extensive experience in reconstructive breast cancer surgery and post-bariatric surgery at the Saint-Pierre University Hospital in Brussels.
Dr. Sebastian Vandenbroeck
Dr. Vandenbroeck graduated summa cum laude from KU Leuven in 2017 and specialized in ENT, Facial, and Neck Surgery. He completed an additional subspecialization through the fellowship of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery and gained international experience, including at the University of Oxford.
He achieved the highest score in his European cohort for the certification exam of the European Board for Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.. At BeClinic, he focuses specifically on rhinoplasty procedures.
Dr. Vandenbroeck is a member of various international associations, has published multiple scientific articles, and stays up to date through continuous education and collaborations with leading experts in his field.

Valérie Huwaert has been an essential part of BeClinic since its founding and serves as the right hand of Dr. Frank Plovier. With over 20 years of experience and a background in emergency and intensive care, she has further developed her medical expertise into a key role within the clinic.
As Clinic Manager and Head Nurse, she leads the nursing team with dedication and ensures smooth guidance for each patient—from preparation through to aftercare. Her passion for aesthetic medicine, keen eye for detail, and patient-centered approach make her a driving force behind the high-quality, personalized care at BeClinic.
