Scars: Interior of the arms

Final result: After 3 months

Social isolation: 7-10 days

Why?

With age or after a significant loss of weight, excess skin can appear on your body. Cosmetic arm surgery consists of treating slack skin by removing any excess of it from this area.

The Intervention

Cosmetic arm surgery is performed under local anaesthesia and takes approximately two hours.

Cosmetic arm surgery consists of removing the excess skin via the interior of the arm so that the scar is virtually imperceptible. Cosmetic arm surgery can be associated with a liposculpture procedure for extracting accumulations of fat.

Results and Post-Operative Care

Following the surgery, a dressing is applied immediately after the procedure to protect the incisions and support the healing process.

Both the dressing and stitches are typically removed two weeks post-operation during your follow-up visit.

The goal of an armlift is to remove excess skin and, if necessary, fat from the inner side of the upper arms. This results in a smoother, firmer contour and an improved arm silhouette. The scar is placed discreetly from the armpit to the elbow, and while it may be visible at first, it typically fades significantly over time.
